Our Journey

At White Buffalo Road Healing Lodge, we believe healing is a journey best walked together. We stand beside Indigenous individuals and families as they reclaim their strength, culture, and spirit.

Our work is rooted in traditional teachings, community connection, and the understanding that true wellness comes from honouring our origins and who we are.

We help people find their way home to themselves and their communities through land-based learning, cultural programs, and compassionate support.

Every step we take is guided by respect, resilience, and the wisdom of those who came before us.

White Buffalo Road Healing Lodge was created from lived experience and a deep need for change.

Our founders saw too many Indigenous youth and families struggling with trauma, disconnection, and systemic barriers, and not enough culturally safe spaces where they could begin to heal. What started as grassroots outreach quickly became something bigger: a lodge built not just with walls, but with intention, ceremony, and community.

Our relationship with the community is not transactional – it’s reciprocal. We don’t see ourselves as providers, but as partners walking the healing path together. Many of our staff, volunteers, and Elders come from the same experiences as those we support. That connection keeps us grounded and accountable.
